🌿 RADIANT ROOTS CLIENT POLICIES

Radiant Roots Trichology & Hair Loss Clinic, a trade name of Transitions 7 LLC, provides all services described on this website.

 

Healing the Crown, One Root at a Time

These Client Policies govern all services provided by Radiant Roots Trichology & Hair Loss Clinic (“Radiant Roots,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By scheduling, confirming, or receiving services, you (“Client”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these policies in full.

Radiant Roots reserves the right to update these policies at any time. The most current version will always be posted on our website.

1. FEES, SERVICES & PRICING

Sisterlocks® Retightening

  • Services are billed at $50 per hour with a three (3) hour minimum.

  • Time beyond the minimum is billed in 15-minute increments.

  • Example: A session beginning at 6:00 PM and ending at 9:20 PM will be billed as four (4) hours.

Sisterlocks® Consultation

  • $50 for up to sixty (60) minutes.

  • Consultations are required for new clients, transfers, and installations.

Sisterlocks® Installation

  • Base rate: $1,500 for hair measuring five (5) inches or less.

  • Additional length is billed at $50 per additional inch.

  • Final pricing and estimated service time are determined during consultation based on hair length and head circumference.

  • Quotes remain valid for thirty (30) days.

Payment Methods

  • Accepted forms of payment include cash and credit card.

  • Payment is due at time of service unless otherwise stated in writing.

Installation Retainer Fee

  • A $100 non-refundable and non-transferable retainer is required to reserve installation appointments.

  • The retainer will be applied toward the total service cost.

 

2. CLIENT PREPARATION REQUIREMENTS

Hair Preparation

  • If an in-studio wash is not scheduled, hair must be washed within forty-eight (48) hours prior to the appointment.

  • Clients arriving with unclean hair may be required to receive an in-studio wash at an additional cost or may be rescheduled.

Locs Under One (1) Year

  • Clients with locs less than one year old must wash and band prior to service to prevent slippage and excessive service time.

Product Restrictions

  • Oils, heavy conditioners, and styling products must not be applied prior to appointments as they interfere with service quality and tool function.

 

3. HEALTH & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

  • Clients experiencing illness (including but not limited to cold, flu, fever, gastrointestinal symptoms, or general unwellness) must reschedule.

  • Radiant Roots reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if a client presents symptoms that may pose a health risk.

  • Cancellations under these circumstances remain subject to the cancellation policy.

 

4. APPOINTMENT CANCELLATIONS & LATE ARRIVALS

Cancellation Policy

  • Appointments may be canceled through the online booking portal.

  • Cancellations made within twenty-four (24) hours of the scheduled appointment are subject to a 100% service charge.

  • Outstanding balances must be paid prior to rebooking.

Late Arrival Policy

  • Clients arriving thirty (30) minutes or more late may have their appointment canceled and charged according to the cancellation policy.

  • Clients are encouraged to notify Radiant Roots if running late.

 

5. SERVICE ENVIRONMENT STANDARDS

Radiant Roots maintains a professional, respectful, and wellness-centered environment.

Clients agree to:

  • Arrive scent-neutral (no heavy perfumes, smoke odors, or overpowering fragrances).

  • Maintain appropriate behavior conducive to a therapeutic and professional setting.

  • Radiant Roots reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if a client is impaired, disruptive, or unable to participate safely. Full service fees may apply.

Children in the Studio

  • Children are permitted; however, a supervising adult must remain present at all times.

  • If a child’s behavior disrupts safety or service flow, the appointment may be discontinued and full service fees may apply.

 

6. WELLNESS & SANITATION PROTOCOLS

  • Services are provided by appointment only.

  • Handwashing or sanitizer use is required upon arrival.

  • Outside shoes are not permitted; clients must bring clean socks or slippers.

  • Masks are optional and encouraged if symptomatic.

  • All tools and stations are sanitized between clients.

  • Clients are asked to text upon arrival to preserve privacy and workflow.

 

7. SERVICE DEFINITIONS

Sisterlocks® Retightening:

  • Precision parting and interlocking of new growth.

Sisterlocks® Styling:

  • Pin-ups, curls, and creative styling options.

Sisterlocks® Maintenance:

  • Trimming, edge refinement, loose hair removal, and minor loc repairs.

Sisterlocks® Consultation:

  • Hair and scalp assessment, intake review, scalp observation, and sample locs for new or transfer clients.

 

8. CLIENT ACKNOWLEDGMENT & AGREEMENT

By scheduling or receiving services with Radiant Roots, Client acknowledges and agrees to comply with all policies, procedures, and professional standards outlined herein and within the Radiant Roots Terms and Conditions.  Failure to comply may result in service refusal, cancellation, or termination of future booking privileges.
